An initiative connecting creative industries and youth startup communities from Serbia and North Macedonia through the co-production of the KreNI Conference and Startup Weekend Ohrid.
KreNI Startup is a regional project that brings together young creatives, entrepreneurs, and event organizers from Niš (Serbia) and Ohrid (North Macedonia). Through the joint production of the KreNI Conference and Startup Weekend Ohrid, the project merges cultural and creative industries with startup entrepreneurship. The goal is to strengthen youth capacities and foster sustainable development through collaboration, education, and knowledge exchange.

Management teams from KreNI and SW Ohrid jointly analyze best practices and challenges to improve the quality of future events.
Study visit to European festivals in the field of culture and creative industries to gather inspiration and establish new contacts.
The Startup Macedonia team takes part in organizing the KreNI Conference by adding an entrepreneurial dimension to the program.
The KreNI team enriches the content of Startup Weekend Ohrid with creative and cultural elements.
20 young people from Niš and Ohrid exchange experiences, gain knowledge in event organization, and participate in mentorship.
The final publication “Synergy of Culture, Creativity and Business” summarizes lessons learned, recommendations, and methodologies.
